Color has always surrounded mankind; from the blue of the sky, the orange sunset, the green trees, the violet mountains, the yellow sun. No matter what our focus, color is a part of it. We talk, eat, breathe, and wear it. It permeates every aspect of life. Whilst there is light and nature we cannot escape the effects of color or its influence upon our physiological, psychological and spiritual make-up.
It is possible to improve and balance your emotional state by gazing at colors and absorbing their vibrations. Using the colored cards, sit back and relax. You will find yourself drawn to one color more than others. The energy vibration of that colour is what you need, at this moment, in order improve, and balance your emotional state. After selecting your chosen color, position yourself at a comfortable distance from the color and allow yourself to relax. Gaze at the color for as long as you feel comfortable, blinking, as you need to. Drink in the color through your eyes until you feel satiated. This may take several minutes. Once satisfied you have absorbed enough of the color's vibrations, write down your experiences.
Red
Positive Keywords: energy, strength, vitality, and grounding
Negative Keywords: lack of direction, no goals, no energy
Look at your sense of self, how you use your energy, will, strength, sexuality and power. Do you have areas of repressed anger? Perhaps you are not using your leadership skills.
Orange
Positive Keywords: confidence, sociability, joy, plenty, creativity, partnership, inner child
Negative Keywords:impoverished, not seeing to one’s needs, lifeless, pessimistic, lonely
Look at joy, happiness, confidence, and fun in your life. Are you depressed or pessimistic? Do you feel plentiful and abundant?
Yellow
Positive Keywords: intellect, security, optimistic, cleansing
Negative Keywords: failing to learn from experiences, lack of clarity, insecurity
Use for objectivity, clarity and intellectual powers. Perhaps you are holding onto anger in the liver area. Are you toxic? Do you need some form of cleansing and sunshine in your life?
Green
Positive Keywords: renewal, harmony, balance, equality
Negative Keywords: hardening, imbalance, outside devotion
To cleanse, heal, to feel more balanced, and to open the heart love area. To look at balancing the male/female polarities, deal with forgiveness and bring in space and harmony.
Turquoise
Positive Keywords: mass communication, change, restoration, immunity
Negative Keywords: isolation, stagnation, aging
Perhaps you need to strengthen immune system, detox or begin a process of renewal. Perhaps you need to move into the area of lectures and mass communication.
Blue
Positive Keywords: peace, one to one communication,families, truth, responsibility
Negative Keywords: dishonesty, ignorance & isolation
Are you stressed and need to make more time for relaxation and peace. Perhaps you need to do some one to one communication, learn more about families, or to express yourself more. Or have you lost a sense of inspiration and faith.
Violet
Positive Keywords: spiritual intuition wisdom; dignity
Negative Keywords: conflict, lack of self-worth
Do you feel low in self-worth, self-respect, or dignity? Perhaps you need to spend more time in meditation and getting in touch with your spirituality, or your intuitive side.
Magenta
Positive Keywords: enlightenment universal love and knowledge, perfection the end of the journey
Negative Keywords: blocked, conditional, selfish
Do you find you have difficulty in letting go of any obsessional images, thoughts, and reminiscences? Are you in the process of a change in your life and need to release. Are you in touch with you divine nature, practising unconditional love?
Use the power of color to improve, balance and harmonize your life on all levels - spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically.
