The Reconnection - Unique Energy FrequencyA Reconnective Healing Practitioner’s PerspectiveAug 29, 2009 Ruth Wilson Zamierowski
Eric Pearl was a successful Los Angeles chiropractor when weird events changed his life. His patients had miraculous energy healings. Some even had messages for him.
In his book, The Reconnection: Heal Others Heal Yourself, Dr. Eric Pearl, D.C. tells how he came to practice energy healing. When his receptionist urged him to consult a psychic on Venice beach, the psychic offered to reconnect his “meridians to the gridlines on the planet, which are connected to the universe." Not sure why, the usually skeptical Pearl eventually agreed to pay her to “…draw lines on my body with her fingertips.” (Pearl, Eric The Reconnection: Heal Others Heal Yourself Carlsbad, CA: Hay House. 2001. pp 45-46) Dr. Eric Pearl Describes His Strange ExperiencesAfterward, Pearl’s patients mentioned feeling his hands when he was not touching them. Some had remarkable healings. At one point, his hand blistered and bled. As if that wasn’t enough, over 50 of Dr. Pearl’s patients (not acquainted with each other) gave him the same messages during sessions and claimed they were channeled through them. Not surprisingly, some of these patients never returned. All 50 patients said one or more of the following statements:
Pearl volunteered to be the subject of research at the University of Arizona, where he worked a chamber sealed against outside radiation. Researchers expected the gamma radiation in the room to increase, but when Pearl used the Reconnective energy, the gamma radiation was reduced. It was hypothesized that the recipients were absorbing energy. Effects of Reconnective Healing EnergyReconnective energy is subjectively different than Reiki or therapeutic touch. The energy is palpable to most people, even those unfamiliar with energy therapies. It is felt as a gentle pressure, heat, or a breeze and seems to get stronger with distance. Dr. Pearl teaches people to attune to his energy until they can channel it though their hands and teaches them to use the energy therapeutically. There are also many unusual physical effects shown by those receiving Reconnective energy. Rapid eye movements, a pulse that is unrelated to heartbeat, increase in gut activity, and involuntary body twitches are common responses. All of these registers are parasympathetic nervous system effects and indicate a relaxation response. The practitioner of Reconnective Healing uses these effects as feedback and guidance during a session. People who experience Reconnective Healing® treatments report altered states as subtle as deep relaxation, to profound waking dreams or a sense of being out of the body. It is common for a client to feel that she has stopped breathing or that her body is being moved and controlled by an outside force. These effects seem startling, yet are rarely alarming to the client. Results of treatment are mainly favorable, but unpredictable improvements in health and mood. Clients have reported improved sleep, faster than normal healing of wounds, elimination of warts and headaches. Most report a sense of improved well being. Eric Pearl has recreated the axiatonal alignment procedure that seemed to be his initiation into healing. His procedure is called The Reconnection™. It is a complex process of connecting points and meridians, requiring two sessions and a total of three or four hours. Pearl trains practitioners in this process as well as Reconnective Healing.
